After finishing school, Tariq followed his dream of starting his own restaurant in his early 20s. He runs a small shop near Qutaba Chowk in Mazang. There, he makes parathas from his father’s recipe despite having not much money but lots of energy. Although Tariq’s uncompromising dedication to quality paid off in the short term, the first few days were difficult. After hearing about his delectable parathas, people from all over Lahore swarmed his stand.
